The bottom line: John Mayer is better than this. This isn't like Paul McCartney writing a few albums full of silly love songs. At least those albums rocked, this is boring. I wish John Mayer a full recovery from the medical problems that continue to plague him and prevent him from going on tour, but when he does, I hope he finds some passion and energy to make one last great album.
