Dark Chocolate Dipped Ice Cream Sugar Cones
Written By Danny Nicolas
Dipping ice cream cones into chocolate isn't difficult. But this is the key part that you shouldn't forget:
Allow chocolate to settle for about 30 seconds before sprinkling with nuts, sprinkles, or cocoa nibs. Drip and dress each cone.
Place dipped cones (still on the sheet pan) in freezer to harden for about 30 minutes.
The hardest part about cooking or baking something is having the patience and not rushing anything. Let the chocolate set before you go trying to dress it up. Put it in the freezer to harden the chocolate before you start filling it with ice cream. Put the ice cream in the cone before you start stuffing your face. These sort of things are really easy but also so east that you can get excited and forget.
