Mando Diao's album Give Me Fire is an instant classic that almost slipped through my fingers. This band sounds like they could have sold ten of millions of record in the 1980s and toured with the best.
The lead singer Björn Dixgård (you can correctly guess, they are from Sweeden) is powerful. The songwriting is full of emotion. The musicianship showcases talent in which age is of no factor.
The standout tracks are Dance With Somebody, Gloria, High Heels, and Mean Street. This is a 9.5/10 / A quality record, worth listening to over and over again. You don't have to skip any songs because the whole thing is a danceable, singable, catchy masterpiece.
