The BBC caught up with Harrison Ford recently who shed some light on the newest installment of the Indiana Jones franchise. While the article itself really doesn’t give us any information on the route it will take, it was filled with many quotes on the process its been in.

“Steven [Spielberg] and George [Lucas] and I are sort of agreed on a germ of an idea and we’re seeing what comes of it.”

“The process works like this, “We come to some basic agreement and then George goes away for a long time and works on it.. “Then Steven and I get it in some form, some embryonic form. “Then if we like it we start working with George on it and at some point down the line it’s ready and we do it.”

While I hope that this upcoming movie returns to the roots of what made Indiana Jones so special (Nazis, treasure hunting, or religious relics) and an extreme departure from the whole “alien” angle, regardless of what it may turn out to be (or even it we want it), we have a new Indy in the works.

On Tuesday, Marvel Comics editor-in-chief Joe Quesada posted two very interesting consecutive “tweets” on his Twitter:

“Definition of “goose bumps.” Pressing enter and watching a screenplay entitled “AVENGERS” come out of my printer.”

“It’s official, I have the greatest job in the world.”

While some are speculating that this script is the one that Marvel hired Zak Penn to write, nothing is truly been confirmed, but with Iron Man 2 coming out this summer, and Thor and Captain America soon to be on the way, its safe to say that we will be hearing more news like this in the coming weeks.

Paramount Pictures is planning to release The Avengers on May 4, 2012.

Sometimes I will wait on seeing a movie because I’m unsure it’s worth seeing in theaters. Most of the time when I make this call, I will forget about the movie until I hear someone talking about how terrible it was, and I will smile and grin because my system works.

This is not one of those movies. Fantastic Mr. Fox is a movie that I should have seen in theaters. I watched it twice in past 12 hours. I laughed and smiled and enjoyed the movie equally both times. This movie is a 10/10, worth paying to see, worth watching over and over again movie.

2009 was an excellent year for animation: Coraline, Ponyo, and Fantastic Mr Fox all are keepers.

What seemed feel like a forced withdrawal from videogames for many fans is now officially over.

Sites such as Joystiq, Playstation Lifestyle, LazyGamer, and Kotaku are all reporting the great news.

And what seems even more relieving is that all the issues with corrupted themes, trophies, and saved data are no longer present either.

What I found most interesting was that when I turned my PS3 on the time was correct but the date was changed back to 2/28, and once I updated the time everything was running smoothly. Maybe Sony backtracked everyone clock a day to get it all working,  but regardless of what they did I can say that this resolve is definitely a breath of fresh air after everything that could have happened with this situation.

Now I’m going to go play Uncharted 2 online or something. Anyone who wants to join me can.

See ya there.

P.S. – For anyone who did lose their trophies that were not synced prior to today’s horrible mess, word on the street is that all you have to do is re-insert the game that the trophies are missing from and it should put them all back up.

Today has been a trying day for Playstation3 players, well more specifically the ones who own an old “fatty” PS3.

The guys over at Playstation Lifestyle not only figured out what was going on, but gave a very easily understandable explanation for people who aren’t “tech heads” or “programmer junkies”.

So whats really causing the problem? Its actually quite simple. Due to a problem with the programming code, the old Playstations were made to count every even year as a leap year, not once every four years like it should be. So back in 2008 when this first couldn’t happened, it was actually in fact a leap year so Feb 29th was on the calender, but this year the system thinks it is, but when it wasn’t, it basically freaked out and reset itself because it didn’t know what to do.

They pointed out that there are three options that could happen:

“1. The official GMT ticks over to March 2nd and the PlayStation 3 moves to March 1st instead of the leap year date which is causing the issues.

2. Sony finds a way to force the System Clock to move to the current date or at least behave properly.

3. There is no way fix the issue and Sony will have to find a plan b.”

Personally I hope its plan a or b, because the 3rd option doesn’t sound fun for anyone who owns an old PS3 because it would just turn out to be more time away from our gaming, and aside from our own personal wishes plan c doesn’t sound financially beneficial for Sony because it leaves room for more possibilities that could hurt their wallets.

Whatever the outcome is, I just know I want to play my PS3 again without losing any of my saved data.
